Description Production: Blend of the 2013 vintage :100% Pinot Noir Grand Cru.Exclusive use of the cuvée.Fermented entirely in aged oak barrels.At Bollinger, only very high-quality harvests become a vintage: in 2013, the Vieilles Vignes Françaises parcels of land were harvested on 27 September and produced a sublime Pinot Noir. Maturation: Sealed with a natural cork and cellar aged for more than twice the time required by the appellation.Dosage:Moderate, 6 grams per litre. This Pinot Noir originates from two unique Grand Cru parcels of land in the grounds of the Maison Bollinger in Aÿ Here, non-grafted vines are grown in the traditional en foule layering system, meaning in no specific order,and are worked entirely by hand Sensations To the eye: A deep golden colour. To the nose: Aromas of quince jam, mirabelle plum and fresh hazelnut are layered with candied lemon peel and sweet spices. A succession of notes follow, from stone fruits to nuts, such as almonds, and finish on aromas of tonka bean. On the palate: An ample, powerful and lively taste. A hint of sea-air rounds off this generous and intense wine. Pairings White caviar.Alba truffles.
