Description The Dahua IPC-PFW5849-A180-E2-ASTE is an advanced security camera that uses two lenses to create a wide 180-degree view, similar to what the human eye can see. This camera combines two 4MP cameras into one unit that works together to show a complete picture without any blind spots. The camera produces high-quality 8MP (4096 × 1800) video at 25 frames per second, which means the video is smooth and detailed enough to clearly see what’s happening. Unlike many security cameras that switch to black and white recording at night, this camera maintains full-color video even in low light. This makes it much easier to identify people, vehicles, and objects after dark. To help with nighttime recording, the camera includes a built-in warm light that can illuminate objects up to 40 meters (about 131 feet) away. The camera includes several smart features that go beyond simple recording. It can detect when people cross a line (tripwire), enter specific areas (intrusion), create heat maps showing where people move most often, and even count people as they enter or exit an area. When the camera detects something important, it can automatically zoom in on that area while still recording the full wide view. For communication, the camera has a built-in microphone and speaker allowing for two-way conversations – you can both hear what’s happening and speak to people near the camera. It also has connections for external alarms and audio equipment (1 input and 1 output for each). The camera can store footage locally on a microSD card (supports up to 512GB) or connect to a network video recorder.
