Thicker 10mm LMR400 extension cables are also available in lengths of 5m, 10m, and 15m. The Yagi antenna is suitable for receiving 4G signals from any distance and is an excellent solution when receiving 4G signals from a specific base station. Yagi antennas are the best option when the base station is far away (over 5 km). The antennas also receive signals from 5G frequency bands (700 MHz, 3.5 GHz). The directional pattern is narrow, allowing directional antennas to maximize the reception of incoming signals. The antennas can be mounted in two different orientations, enabling the use of cross-polarization technology. Cross-polarization can be achieved by either tilting both antennas 45 degrees to each other or placing the upper antenna vertically and the lower antenna horizontally. These installation angles are based on the propagation directions of signals in vertical and horizontal planes. Utilizing two antennas allows for the utilization of MIMO technology, which enables the reception of both vertical and horizontal polarization frequencies. The recommended distance between the antennas is approximately 70 cm. The antennas can be installed on the house wall using wall brackets or on the roof with an antenna mast. (Note: Mast brackets are included, wall brackets and antenna mast are sold separately) Connecting the Antenna to the Modem KAD2700 antennas are suitable for use as external additional antennas for 4G/5G modems with SMA connectors. Adapters and converters can be used to connect the antennas to TS9 modems.
