A hamsa, the protective hand of the Almighty, is thought to ward off the evil eye. The intensity and strength of these versions, by Israeli artist Vered Otmy, are derived from her usage of radiant colors. Vered’s hamsas come in a variety of sizes; some of which sport blessings hand written in Hebrew by a trained Sofer (scribe). Signed by the artist.
