Description BARBARESCO DI BARBARESCO For many years now we have been producting this small selection of Barbaresco, a single vineyard planted in a not very deep soil where limestone and marns alternate, for a limited quantity of bottles that will surely give you great emotions. Ageing in wood, this wine develops harmonious sensations with floral and spicy notes and an intense colour. A solid structure leading to great elegance, typical of Nebbiolo for Barbaresco. We wanted a soft and enveloping wine, surely complex, but also able to combine the austere tones of the great Nebbiolo with more tenuous and elegant scents. Vineyard: Varietal: Nebbiolo 100% Vineyard: Vineyard in the Village of Barbaresco Altitude: 290 metres a.s.l. Soil: Limestone with white tuff marlstone Vine training technique: Guyot Winemaking: Fermentation in steel vats with maceration period of two weeks followed by malo-lactic fermentation. Wine is then aged in young oak barrels and then in the bottle. Wine: Nicely intense in colour, ample and ethereal, it expresses all the softness of the well-aged Nebbiolo with smooth tannins and scents of liquorice and violet; excellent evolution potential.
